Figures cast in plaster and bronze that look half-finished on purpose, as if the material had its own ideas.

Tomasz Weir works in plaster first and bronze only when a piece insists on it. He leaves the seams, pour marks and thumbprints in, so each figure carries the record of how it was made.

He moved to Margate in 2014 and works from a former boatyard on the harbour arm. His public commissions include pieces for Folkestone Triennial and the Canal & River Trust.
