About these terms
These terms apply when you use this website, visit Gesso Art or buy a work from us. Gesso Art Ltd is registered in England and Wales, and our gallery is at 12 Fort Road, Margate, Kent CT9 1HF.
Visiting
Entry is free. We may close a room at short notice to install or take down an exhibition; if we do, we will say so on this website. Please do not touch the works unless a label invites you to.
Buying a work
A work is reserved for you only when we confirm it in writing, and it is sold when we receive payment in full. Prices include VAT where it applies. Framing, delivery and installation are quoted separately.
Reservations and returns
We can hold a work for up to seven days while you decide. Because every work is unique, sales are final, except where the law gives you a right to cancel a purchase made at a distance, which we will explain before you pay.
Events
Openings are free and need no booking. Tickets for talks and workshops are refundable up to 48 hours before the event, or in full if we cancel it.
Images and copyright
Copyright in every work belongs to the artist. The photographs, words and design of this website belong to Gesso Art and may not be copied without permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms.
Changes and law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies while it is shown. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
